Who we are

Beaufort History Museum, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation under and by virtue of the laws of the State of South Carolina as contained in Chapter 33, Section 31, of the South Carolina Code of Laws and Internal Revenue Code 1986, Section 501(c)3. It is devoted to facilitating, displaying, and managing, to the extent permitted by the City Council of Beaufort, South Carolina, the collection of art and artifacts owned now or in the future by the City of Beaufort, South Carolina.
