Donation Types

The Beaufort History Museum is a 501(c)3 organization and is able to accept your tax-deductible donations and/or Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from an IRA account. These are due by December 31st each tax year.

These funds are used by the Museum to continue its ongoing program of improving and expanding our exhibits, learning opportunities and community involvement for a wide variety of area residents and visitors, as we fulfill our mission, which is stated below.

"The Mission of the Beaufort History Museum is to preserve, promote, and interpret the experiences of our past that influence us now and in the future."
