GovernanceThe Beaufort History Museum is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, which has custody, and provides control and direction to the museum and its collections. The Board consists of 15 members. The bylaws call for staggered terms, with the result that one-third of the Board is elected each year. Board members serve three-year terms, and are elected or re-elected at each Annual Meeting.
