  • Reserve a table for 10, members or non-members, at the member price! Payment is required at the time the reservation is made.

    After selecting, enter Yourself first, then add 9 Guests. When entering each guest, you'll need first and last name (email address optional).

Girls Raised In The South . . .

  . . . Join us for a tea party and celebration of Lowcountry women who changed history.  This is the principal fundraiser for the Beaufort History Museum.  The tea party will be a delectable event featuring live music; a cocktail reception; scrumptious traditional fare; and a fascinating program.

You'll experience a dramatic performance by acclaimed re-enactor Kim Poovey, in full Civil War-era period dress, from her novel Truer Words. You'll also hear the stories of four outstanding women -- Harriet Keyserling, Harriet Tubman, Abbie Holmes Christensen, and Mrs. Ercell Brown Holmes -- who with wisdom, tenacity and fierce courage, influenced  the unfolding history of our area.
